The ACPPLD (Association of Chartered Physiotherapists For People With Learning Disabilities) are excited to launch the ‘So your next patient has a learning disability’ animation which aims to support our physiotherapy colleagues to make reasonable adjustments when people with a learning disability access their services.

Aquatic therapy helping to transform the lives of children with long-term conditions - Children's Community Health Partnership (CCHP)
The Community Children's Health Partnership (CCHP) is a partnership led by Sirona care & health CIC working with Avon & Wiltshire Partnership Mental Health NHS Trust (AWP), University Hospital Bristol NHS Foundation Trust (UHB), Barnardo’s and Off The Record as partners. They provide all of the community child health and child and adolescent mental health services for Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire. The service is called the Community Children’s Health Partnership (CCHP) and have just released the following Aquatic Therapy Press Release.
The ATACP committee are keen that study days are held in a variety of locations across the UK.
To host a study day we would require:
a venue with lecture facilities to accommodate 80 peoplea hydrotherapy pool with sufficient viewing space around the edge of the poolspace for refreshments and lunch (or within the lecture facilities)good transport links

The 2022 ATACP study day at the Defence Medical Rehabilitation Centre (Stanford Hall, Lougborough) 1st October 2022 9.15 am – 15.45 pm has been AMENDED so that the AGM will be moved and held on Monday 3rd October 7.30 pm in conjunction with an ATACP Autumn webinar.
