This webinar will introduce the Aquatic Rehabilitation Service Provision Recommendations with application across the United Kingdom. These recommendations were developed through consultation as part of an NHS Education Scotland AHP fellowship. They are endorsed by the professional network the Aquatic Therapy Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (ATACP) and the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP), as well as the national steering group the Aquatic Physiotherapy and Hydrotherapy Alliance (APHA). The recommendations are intended to provide a platform for clinicians and service managers to improve, modernise and commission robust high quality aquatic physiotherapy services across all rehabilitation settings. It is hoped that in the near future these recommendations will provide the basis for the development of a set of standards for aquatic rehabilitation services to benchmark against.
